Joel Bancroft Added As Senior Girls DOC & Casey King Promoted To Junior Academy Director

Joel is currently the Head Women's Coach at St Anselm's College.

Through his first two seasons at the helm, Bancroft has racked up 15 wins and saw a dramatic improvement in his team's fortune in 2018. The Hawks recorded a 9-7-1 overall record in 2018 alongside a mark of 9-4-1 against Northeast-10 Conference opponents, making their first postseason appearance since 2013. Saint Anselm also posted nine wins against league opponents in 2018, the most in team history. Joel holds his USSF B License.

North Shore Director Doc Simpson on Joel “As a staff it was important for us to bring in people who understand our philosophy and have a positive attitude towards coaching and development. Joel has experience on multiple levels and is committed to his players and the game. I believe this is the beginning of a relationship that will benefit the north shore long term on many levels.”

Casey is currently an assistant at Endicott College. Since King joined the Gulls, Endicott has produced an overall record of 44-21-11, with a record of 26-6-3 in CCC play. The Gulls have been to four straight CCC semifinals, and have seen 24 women receive All-Conference honors, including Rachel Hanna's Player of the Year nod in 2017.

North Shore Technical Director Ebbie Kodiat on Casey “I’m very excited that Casey will be our clubs Academy Director! I’ve worked with Casey for many years on specific teams and hence I know that Casey will be a great role model to our younger girls on and off the field! Casey has a great story being a local north shore kid playing in college at Wingate and at the WPSL levels. Her coaching experience at the club and collegiate level will help her give back and build a great foundation for our club.

As the Technical Director, I look forward to working with Casey in continuing to create a pathway for all our players! Exciting times for NEFC North Shore!”
