James Hamblin Announced As NEFC General Manager

To NEFC members:


I am very pleased to announce that effective July 1st James Hamblin will serve as the General Manager and Co-Tournament Director for NEFC. In this new role, James will be reporting to me. He has a wealth of soccer experience in the area having spent the last 18 years at GPS.


James was the National General Manager for GPS responsible for overseeing GPS clubs in 23 states and was the National Tournament Director.  As National Tournament Director he managed over 40 tournaments nationally throughout the US with the largest event being the GPS Memorial Day Tournament.


As GM for NEFC, he will oversee all Regional Directors, staffing, budgeting, club partnerships, and overall management of the regions. James will also work in partnership with Matt Jones to run the NEFC events, including the Fall Kick-off, November Cup, and Preseason Tournament.


James lives in Maynard, with his wife and two kids. We are fortunate to have someone of James’s caliber and experience to help lead NEFC to become one of the best youth soccer clubs in the country.
