Age Groups: U9-U19

 Dates: March 26-28, 2021

NOTE : The Commonwealth of Massachusetts is currently in Phase III of the COVID-19 reopening plan.  Phase III does not allow for Moderate Risk Sports (which includes soccer) or High Risk Sports to participate in tournament play of any kind.  If this remains the current phase as we approach the event, it will not run as a tournament.   In place of the tournament, an alternative event may be held.  This alternative event will comply with all guidelines set forth by the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Office of Energy and Environmental Affair

NEFC will be hosting the Boys March Friendly Competition from March 26-28, 2021. This competition will:

• Guarantee 3 games per team (Friday's games will be under lights between 5:00pm-9:30pm)
• Follow Commonwealth of Massachusetts EEA Guidelines  and Mass Youth Soccer "Return to Soccer Activities" Guidelines
• Follow the NEP/MYSA game modifications
• Primarily hosted at MYSA and Forekicks Facilities
• Workaround clubs coaches conflicts
• No official "Brackets" (other than for scheduling purposes) nor recorded official scores or assign gotsoccer points
• Open for elite-level play along with providing multiple levels of competition for all club/town teams
• Open to all teams which are in, or travel from states that at the time of the event are not in a restricted travel ban per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts’ current Travel Policy
• Have licensed referees from US Officials for all games (1 referee per 7v7 and 9v9 games and a 3 referee crew for all 11v11 games)
• U9-U12 - 25 minute halves
  U13-U14 - 30 minute halves
  U15 - 35 minute halves
  U16-U19 - 40 minute halves
• If the event is canceled due to COVID-19 relate action Prior to kickoff then 100% of fees will be refunded
