All U6 and U8 boys and girls are welcome to participate in our second annual South Coast iRec Spring Soccer League! The ‘i’ is for instructional, and the purpose of our league is to provide quality instruction from experienced coaches as well as non-results oriented weekly competition. Each Saturday will be composed of a practice period of approximately 45 minutes and a 30 minute competitive game of 3v3, 4v4, or 5v5 on modified fields. Registered players will be grouped onto teams to encourage a team practice environment and competitive spirit.
Staff coaches will utilize a developmental curriculum with the aim of improving the following skills: ball mastery, running with the ball and dribbling, first touch, passing and receiving, and shooting. Most importantly, all our players will have fun and be nurtured in a positive environment.
Our Professional Coaching Staff is uniquely qualified to work with players this age. All have significant experience with young players and have also worked with players at the highest levels.
The cost to participate is $85. Please register online and send in your payment ASAP!
Important Details:
Who?: U6 and U8 boys and girls (5, 6, 7, and 8 year olds, age group cutoffs are as of August 1, 2011)
When?: Saturdays beginning April 7 and running through the beginning of June
