The NEFC South Shore United U10 Girls, coached by David Floeck, will compete in the New England Premiership (NEP) this year as well as in various tournaments.  For the link to our fall NEP schedule, please click here.  We are playing in the U10 Girls Premiership. 2011-2012 ANTICIPATED COMPETITIVE SCHEDULE:

TEAM HISTORY:

August 2011:  Team training has begun this month. The girls participated in the U10 Friendlies of the Cranberry Cup Tournament (August 13th & 14th), their first tournament together as a team, and are looking forward to the Stars Cup Tournament this Labor Day weekend.

September 2011:  The South Shore United U10 Girls went undefeated in the Stars Cup, Championship division (8v8), this past Labor Day weekend, winning all 4 games and becoming the champions of that U10 division.  In the final game, between the undefeated South Shore United U10 Girls, winners of bracket A, and the undefeated New England Aztecs, winners of bracket B, NEFC ended up with a 5-4 victory.

October 2011:  The South Shore United U10 Girls competed in the Nashua World Cup Tournament (8v8) this past Columbus Day weekend and ended up with 3 wins and one tie (3-0-1).

December 2011:  In addition to playing indoors at the Dome, the South Shore United U10 Girls competed in the Christmas Holiday Tournament at ForeKicks in Norfolk. They had a great tournament making it all the way to the finals.

January 2012:  The NEFC SS United U10 girls will be participating in the NEFC MLK Jamboree at ForeKicks in Marlborough this month on 1/16 (games at 2:30 p.m. vs. U11 Gerson, 3:30 p.m. vs. U10 Burke and 4:00 p.m. vs. U11 Dolan), continuing with their indoor soccer games on Thursday nights, session 2 at the Dome (U12A), and attending their winter team and academy trainings.

  • Saturday,12/10, from 9:00-10:00 a.m. at the Mansfield Sportsplex (sneakers or indoor shoes only)
  • Tuesday,1/3, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Thayer Academy Gym (sneakers or indoor shoes only)
  • Sunday mornings, 1/8-3/4 (but no training on 2/19), from 7:30-9:00 a.m. at ForeKicks in Norfolk (sneakers or indoor shoes only)
  • Goalkeeper training offered from 9:00-10:30 following team trainings on Sundays at ForeKicks.

  • U10 Girls - Wednesdays (on futsal court, sneakers only) from 6:00-7:00 p.m. (U10 boys are from 5:00-6:00 p.m., and U11 boys and girls are from 7:00-8:00 p.m.)
  • U10 Girls - Saturdays (on turf, cleats OK) from 10:00-11:00 a.m. (U10 boys are from 9:00-10:00)
