Coaches Corner:

Player development is the most important aspect of being a successful coach.  My idea of success is measured by how the girls learn and develop the skills of soccer.  Success is measured by the learning and mastery of skills.  My definition of success is not necessarily winning.  I consider it important to strive to win, but not to the extent that it sacrifices player improvement and the development of self-esteem.  Victory is noteworthy but not the primary measure of success.  The focus of game and practice sessions is on creating a fun and rewarding experience, individual ball handling skills, and game strategy appropriate to their level of play.  I will challenge the players within the bounds of their own abilities and expect an effort that is to the best of their capabilities.
