NEFC Metro North

The NEFC Metro North region is based out of the Bedford, Belmont, Woburn area. It has over 30 teams ranging from the U7 – U18. The main training facilities are The Edge, Belmont Hill School, and Bando Woburn

Metro North Girls

Clubwide Teams, the pinnacle of our development pyramid. With training sessions held 3-4 times a week throughout 10 months, access to state-of-the-art facilities, and a track record of placing players into top-tier college soccer programs, our teams offer unparalleled opportunities for growth and success. Competing in the nation's premier leagues and traveling nationally for high-level tournaments, our Clubwide Teams are led by highly accredited coaches dedicated to developing talent and fostering excellence on and off the field.

NEFC Metro North offers professional coaching and a higher level of play to players

At NEFC MN players will receive age-appropriate training and playing opportunities under the direction of dedicated and licensed coaches. The focus is on the joy of play and the development of technical skills, and ultimately, to provide a lifelong passion for soccer in every child that comes through our ranks.

These teams are expected to compete in the top divisions and will participate in local and regional tournaments throughout the year. These teams will also attend a variety of college showcases to gain maximum exposure to college coaches.

 

The Junior Academy Program is designed to provide entry-level experience into club soccer. Each player will be challenged in a fun, safe, professional coaching environment so that each player will reach their own potential. The focus is on ball mastery and skill/technique development.

Directors & STAFF

Formerly a professional soccer player in Wales, David brings his passion for the game and coaching to the management side of the industry.

David has 19 years of experience as a coach including his UEFA A License

Formerly the Executive Director of Valley AFC in Roanoke, Virginia, David managed over 3000 players and 200 staff.

Sophie Dewar is currently the Girls Director at NEFC Metro North and is currently coaching 2007, 2013 and 2014 girls. Her previous experience includes coaching at a Premier League academy and collegiately in the UK. Stateside, Sophie was most recently responsible for recruiting, training and managing coaching staff throughout the USA for Challenger Sports, as well as curriculum development.
